The Light Factory Contemporary Museum of Photography and Film conducted an outreach program entitled, Self Image. Students created photographs and stop motion animations that expressed their personal perspective on their identity and anti-identity or stereotypes. Professional teaching artist, Jen Crickenberger, guided students through the creative process at Hawthorne and Myers Park High Schools.

Self Image Project Sponsors
The Light Factory is seeking sponsors to provide funds, services, and equipment necessary to run this program locally and internationally. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor for The Self Image Project, please contact the Education Department. Past sponsors have provided free cameras, film, film processing, exhibition materials, as well as funds for teaching artist expenses, administration, and for equipment purchase. There are many benefits to becoming a program sponsor. We welcome and appreciate your support. The Light Factory is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
